THE TEMPLATE LIBRARY

Tech pack templates
for T-shirts & hoodies.

Choose the garment you are sampling. Each template includes the structure for your brief, with unknown specifications left for you to fill in.

What is a tech pack template?

A tech pack template is a structured working brief for a garment. It gives your design images, bill of materials, measurements, construction notes and revisions a consistent place. It is useful before sampling, and becomes more specific as your team and factory confirm the details.

What should you fill in?

  • Style identity: style number, name, version, date and sample notes.
  • Design references: your front and back artwork, with written placement instructions.
  • Materials and trims: name, composition, color, specification and usage notes for each item.
  • Measurements: measurement point, size, value, unit and your own agreed tolerance.
  • Construction and review: print and label positions, assembly notes, changes and open questions.

Which template fits your garment?

Use the T-shirt tech pack template for a jersey body, neck finish and artwork placement. Choose the hoodie tech pack template when your brief also needs a hood, pocket and rib trim details. Each example shows how to organize a different garment; its sample values are not recommendations for yours.

From template to factory review

  1. Choose a garment and upload front and back artwork.
  2. Fill in only the measurements and material specifications you know.
  3. Record open questions and mark the document version.
  4. Save your draft and export a PDF for sample review.

These templates cover T-shirts and hoodies. They do not generate patterns, grade sizes automatically or validate production requirements.

Can I edit the template and download a PDF?

Yes. Open a blank template to enter your specifications, or explore a clearly labeled example in the editor. Sign in to save your own projects and reopen them later. Exported PDFs use the current project data; keep editing the saved project for the next revision. Your first project export is free per account. See export pricing or learn more about the tech pack software.
