Crewneck tech pack template

A crewneck sweatshirt brief for body, neck rib, cuffs and hem rib. The measurement points are named. The values stay blank until you confirm them.

A blank template does not prescribe measurements, fabric weights or tolerances. Example values below are illustrative.

What goes in your crewneck brief?

01

Body and rib trims

Keep the main fabric, neck rib, cuff rib and hem rib on separate rows. Leave composition and specification blank until your supplier confirms them.

02

Points of measure, not a size chart

Half chest, body length, sleeve length, neck rib, cuff and hem rib are starter rows with empty values. They are not a recommended grade.

03

Artwork without a guessed position

The template does not measure your image. Write the reference point and finished size when you know them, or leave the instructions blank.

04

Your tolerance

A blank tolerance means unconfirmed, not zero. Enter only the variation you have agreed.

Before you send it

Review unknown fields, record changes, and ask the factory to confirm open questions. A tech pack communicates your intent; sample approval remains a separate decision.

Factory reading guide

This reading guide explains the PDF. It does not add measurements, materials, tolerances or color standards, and it does not translate the specifications above.

Style number, document version and date identify this file. A later file replaces this one only when you receive that new version.

Blank cells and the words “To confirm” mean the detail is unknown. They are not zero and they are not a default.

Each measurement cell is a value and a tolerance. The tolerance applies only when both are filled in. Units are cm or in, as written.

Questions marked Open still need an answer. Questions marked Confirmed only record what is already written in this file.

Colorways, when this file includes them, list a color name, an optional #RRGGBB hex reference and notes. No color-standard library is included.

Images are visual references. Use the written placement and construction notes for positions. This file is not a sewing pattern, a graded size chart or a production approval.

How to fill in your crewneck sample brief

  1. Upload front and back views, then describe the neck, cuffs and hem in the construction notes.
  2. Replace the illustrative fleece and rib rows with your own material references, or clear them and start from the blank template.
  3. Fill measurement values size by size. Add or delete points that do not belong on your style.

Does the crewneck example set a size grade?

No. Example numbers, where the filled sample shows them, are illustrative. The blank template leaves every measurement and tolerance empty. This is not a sewing pattern.

What if the rib or fleece is undecided?

Leave those material fields blank and add an open question. Do not copy the example weight into a style you have not confirmed.

Colorways and the factory reading guide

Add colorway rows only for colors you want to name: a color name, an optional #RRGGBB value and notes. There is no Pantone library. Leave the list empty and the PDF omits the section. The export can add an English, Chinese or bilingual reading guide and a short measurement glossary. The guide explains the file. It does not translate your specifications or fill blank measurements.
